Our Approach
FreightLinkr Hotel & Resort is dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable, and socially responsible entertainment environment for all guests. This includes our members' lounge, private card tables, bars, and all evening programming. We take our duty of care seriously and have implemented a comprehensive responsible entertainment policy.
Access Restrictions
All evening entertainment venues at FreightLinkr, including the members' lounge and private card tables, are strictly restricted to guests aged 18 years and above. Our team is trained to verify age on entry and will politely request proof of identity from any guest who appears to be under 25 years of age.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any guest at our absolute discretion, including where we have reason to believe a guest is under the legal age, is intoxicated, or may pose a risk to themselves or others.

Set Personal Limits
Whether enjoying drinks at our bar or participating in card games, decide in advance how long you wish to spend and what your personal limits are.
Stay Hydrated
Our team always provides complimentary water in all venues. We encourage guests to alternate alcoholic beverages with water or non-alcoholic options.
Enjoy with Company
Our entertainment venues are designed for social enjoyment. We encourage guests to engage with the experience in good company and to look out for one another.
Know When to Step Back
If you feel that you or someone you know may be exceeding personal limits, please speak to any member of our team. We are always here to help.
Never Under the Influence
Participation in social activities such as card games while heavily intoxicated is strongly discouraged. Our team may ask guests to take a break for their own comfort and safety.
Prioritise Wellbeing
Your wellbeing always comes first. If you ever feel uncomfortable or would like to speak with someone in confidence, our duty manager is available 24 hours a day.
Our Staff Training
All FreightLinkr team members working in entertainment and bar settings receive comprehensive training in:
- Age verification procedures and identification checks;
- Responsible service of alcohol;
- Recognising signs of distress or over-intoxication;
- Conflict resolution and customer care;
- Safe guest management and first-aid awareness.
Self-Exclusion
Guests who wish to voluntarily exclude themselves from our entertainment venues or certain activities may request to be added to our internal self-exclusion register by contacting our General Manager in writing. We will honour all reasonable requests for self-exclusion promptly and confidentially.
